Biography
In photography, Aleksandr Artemev prefers to shoot art, social topics, and sports. Academician of МАСИ-IACA (The International Academy of Contemporary Arts is a professional association, which includes representatives of the Russian Federation and 80 foreign countries). Photographer APU (Asia Photographers Union). Winner and laureate of 1000 national and international photography competitions in 26 countries starting in 2021. Cinematograph, an expert and researcher of photography. Author of his own documentary photo projects. In addition to the success of the public, Aleksandr won recognition in the professional community, confirming his skills as a photographer with high awards at the International Art Competition “Art Excellence Awards", International Award "Stella Virtuoso". He began his career in 1985 and worked for six years as an engineer in the defense design bureau at the "Radiozavod" in the city of Velikie Luki, Pskov region. Received 32 letters of gratitude with entries in my personal file and work record book, earned a new one-room apartment (33,6/18/8/B) square meters. From 1996 to 1998 he worked as a videographer in a television company of Vitebsk, participant of the International Festival of Arts "Slavyansky Bazaar in Vitebsk" in 1996 and 1997. In December 2014, Aleksandr completed a distance learning course at the New York Institute of Photography NYIP. Multiple participant of the International meeting of aeronauts in the city of Velikie Luki, Pskov region. In 2016, in Moscow, I attended a course of lectures by Vladimir Vyatkin “Modern photojournalism”. Author of six personal exhibitions, photographs are in private collections, museums and exhibition halls in the cities of Russia and the Republic of Belarus - Vitebsk, St. Petersburg, Pskov, Velikiye Luki, Rostov-on-Don. For more than 42 years, he has been fond of psychology and film, photo, video filming. Citizen of the Russian Federation since 1962, born in the Leningrad region, lives in Vitebsk. Higher education - Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University. Reserve officer, married, father of two children.

Aleksandr Artemev resorts to such metaphorical techniques as slow shutter speed and intentional camera movement during shooting, introducing these techniques into reportage photography and thus expanding its pictorial possibilities. During the work, the author "connects" the Subconscious, the creative potential of which is practically unlimited. There is an opinion that the subconscious mind controls about 98% of our state and behavior. And in terms of neural connections, the impulses that the subconscious sends are transmitted 800 times faster than the impulses transmitted through the consciousness.
